It was a great joy to travel with a group of nine to Santa Ana, El Salvador this past week where we ministered in churches and schools doing a total of 13 outreaches.

However, much of our time was spent putting tin roofs on the plastic houses in three different squatter villages.  They were displaced by a volcano six years ago.  It is the rainy season and the plastic leaks.  No running water or electricity.  The villages are inhabited predominantly by single mothers and children.  We helped the children begin a community garden.  It was a very humbling honor to minister to some of the sweetest people you could ever meet.
